Stranded on his own for millions of years in the past and unable to save his species, Minkowski had only one option—to kick-start a robot system capable of replicating itself, in the hope that it would take over the galaxy and fulfill its destiny millions of years later. He uploaded his mind in the form of a hidden artifact, his will a shadow, all to make sure his plan came to fruition.
